Ever since the first humans walked the earth, our species has been unique in its ability and desire to understand the universe and our place in it. The industrial revolution followed by the computer revolution and resulting information explosion has enabled people alive today to see and understand this universe in ways that all previous generations could only imagine; and imagine we did! Using our keen observation skills and wonderfully vivid imaginations, human kind has been on an endless journey of discovery.
Your family's journey begins at the Marin Treks Natural History Museum. Gaze in wonder at the amazing irridescent green colors of the Chinese Water Dragon or the razor sharp claws of the Bearded Dragon during your up close encounters with these amazing, but misunderstood animals. During your visit you will encouter many live animals as well as those that left this earth millions of years ago; today these animals are only observed as fossils. End your journey with a stroll through modern Marin County and its native animals and plants.
