April 13: Land's End Hike to Mile Rock Beach along the SF Coastal Trail
This beautiful hike begins at the Lands End trail head near the Cliff House in San Francisco. We'll hike about 3/4 of a mile to Mile Rock Beach where we'll explore a cave, play on the giant boulders, build sand castles and forts out of driftwood and rocks, and see wildlife. We've seen dolphins here numerous times as well as seals, sea lions, and tide pool creatures such as crabs and sea stars. The tide is low from 11:30 - 2:30 so we'll have plenty of beach to explore!
$75 per child                                                                                Grades 4 - 8

April 14: Oakland Zoo
This wonderful zoo in the Oakland foothills amazes and delights the children and me every time we visit! The bug house, bat house, children's zoo, Africa, and much more! What new animals do they have? Any new baby animals in the family? Join us and find out!
$100 per child                                                                              Grades 1 - 7

April 15: House of Air Trampoline Park (SF)
The children can go wild in the dodge ball arena and the huge trampoline area.  We have 2 hours of flying time scheduled for this visit!  Afterwards we'll visit the Marin Headlands for a short hike before heading back to Novato.
$120 per child                                                                              Grades 1 - 7

April 16: Petrified Forest and Armstrong Redwoods hike
First we'll visit the remarkable Petrified Forest east of Santa Rosa where the eruption of Mount St. Helena centuries ago left a group of petrified trees in it's wake.  Then we'll head down River Road to hike among the giant redwoods in Armstrong Redwoods State Park.
$75 per child                                                                                Grades 4 - 8

April 17: Mount Diablo summit hike and Rock City exploration
We'll drive to the summit of Mount Diablo to take in the greatest view in the entire Bay Area while having lunch.  After a tour of the visitor center we'll head down the mountain to the remarkable Rock City, a natural wonder on the flank of the mountain.  It's like a little slice of the southwest was dropped on the mountain: giant rock formations and caves for us to explore and climb on to our hearts content.
$75 per child                                                                                Grades 4 - 8
