Marin Treks offers unique hands-on educational adventures for preschoolers. Since we started in 2007 we have visited dozens of preschools to teach children about our animals.
Your school can be next!
We will come to your preschool with some of our insects, reptiles, and amphibians for an exciting program that will involve viewing, handling and learning about these remarkable but often misunderstood creatures (where they live, what they eat, how they avoid predators and survive). The children will be encouraged to ask many questions and then try to answer them together with clues from us. Of course, they will be able touch or hold the animals if they wish! We can design the lesson to match the subject matter your school is currently studying.
The program works best with groups of 10 - 12 children for 30 minutes per group. The size of your preschool will determine the length of the visit.
Cost: $100 per hour. Teacher must be present.

Marin Treks Natural History Museum offers exciting activities for kids featuring reptiles and amphibians, including: Birthday Parties, School Programs, After School Programs, Preschool Programs, School Field Trips, Scout Programs and Summer Camps.
